- Financial Responsibility: Clear any outstanding debts to the Australian Government.
For Partner (Migrant) Visa (Subclass 100)
- Temporary Partner Visa Holder: You must hold a Subclass 309 Visa.
- Continuing Relationship: Maintain your marriage or de facto relationship, except under special circumstances.
- Law Compliance: Comply with all Australian laws and the conditions of your 309 visa.
Health and Character Requirements
- Health Examinations: Complete medical checks within 12 months before applying.
- Police Clearance: Provide police certificates for any country where you’ve lived for 12 months or more in the last 10 years.
Responsibilities of Sponsors
- Housing: Provide suitable accommodation for the visa holder.
- Financial Support: Cover living costs and, if necessary, English language training.
- Childcare and Other Support: As needed, including assistance with dependents.
Family Members in the Visa Application
Dependent children or stepchildren can be included in the visa application.
